Honor is the ability that we have to give respect to each other. The word respect comes from the Latin respicere, meaning "willingness to look again". The Warrior is prone to a second look, rather than keep hold a particular point of view about a situation or person. To be most effective, we must have the good will to see our real capabilities, instead of arresting only one or two parts of who we think we are. When we have the willingness to look again, we respect. This allows us to be open and flexible both to ourselves and to others.
