Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice is an astronomical phenomenon that marks the beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere and summer in the southern hemisphere. Our hemisphere reaches the farthest point from the Sun on the 22nd of December at 4h48am.

This is the shortest day of the year and consequently the longest night. It is a turning point in many traditions as the end of a learning period starts now. The gathering time, pause, return to the inner connection, is a requirement of this season.

Let us take the strong energy available on this day to become aware of what we still need to work on our shadow side and assume bravely the decision to bring it to light. This is a true process of enlightenment.
